While playing live shows in ‘90’s London, Will quickly became a sought after session player including working with bands Joshua James, Hot Milk and GLYDA (with Jesse Wood) and working with the late producer Jonas Bruce, son of Jack Bruce. He also re opened the famous Crawdaddy Club at its original location in Richmond hosting weekly Jam sessions.
He has released five dynamic solo albums.
His most recent in 2023 “Yin & Yang”.
His 2021 album “BLUESDADDY” earned him a #1 in The Roots Music Review Chart.
He has been nominated for ‘Best Original Blues Song’ by the British Blues Awards for three consecutive years.
Touring as a solo artist Will has become a favorite among festival goers, entrancing audiences worldwide with his powerful vocals and deep bluesy guitar work.
Will has played internationally, headlining festivals in India and Guatemala. His work has taken him across Europe touring the Czech Republic, Belgium, Holland and Germany, performing to sold-out venues.
His adventures have taken him to Russia on five occasions to perform at The Central House of Artists in Moscow, north to St Petersburg and south to Koktebel. Will also performed a very special show at a maximum-security prison for female offenders, one of the only Western musicians to ever have done so.
For the last few years Will has also been the lead performer of the legacy show The Cream of Clapton Band (formerly The Music of Cream and Sons of Cream) which has been personally endorsed by his Uncle Eric. Playing the parts of Eric along with Clapton band members including special guests bassist Nathan East and drummer Steve Ferrone, he has toured the USA, Canada and Europe.
During his storied career Will has performed alongside many more renowned musicians including Uncle Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Steve Winwood, Ronnie Wood, Mick Taylor, Bill Wyman, Nile Rodgers, Robben Ford, Glenn Hughes, Roger Waters, Dennis Chambers, Greg Phillenganes, Sonny Emery, Gregg Bissonette, Shar White, Katie Kissoon, Kenny Jones and Steve Gadd.
Particular highlights include his performance of Cream’s classic “White Room” with Mick Taylor at the commemorative concert “An Evening for Jack” Bruce at Shepard’s Bush Empire in 2017, as well as performing “Crossroads” alongside Uncle Eric at the 2020 Ginger Baker Memorial Concert.
In 2023 and 2024 Will toured Florida in support of his most recent album “Yin & Yang” establishing himself as a new favorite on the state’s well-known blues scene. He will return in January and April of 2025.
Currently Will is in the studio working on his upcoming sixth solo album.
